Paul Heng is the Founder/Managing Director and an Executive Coach of NeXT Career Consulting Group, Asia. The group is the Asia Pacific partner of arbóra Global Career Partners, an international association of over 30 professional corporate coaching/career management firms based globally. The group has offices in Hong Kong, PRC and Singapore from which regional support is provided to our corporate clients.

Paul is certified as a career coach (CMF) by the Institute of Career Certification International (ICC, Intl). He has completed the Master Coach Program by Behavioral Coaching Institute in Australia and also the Corporate Coach University program from the US, and is currently a member of the International Coach Federation, USA. He has chalked up close to 1,250 professional coaching hours since 2003, and has been awarded the designation Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation, USA. He is qualified to administer the OPQ32 instrument.

He has over 20 years' professional human resource experience in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore. He provides coaching & consultation to senior management and executives from many industry sectors in Hong Kong, China, Singapore and other Asia Pacific countries.  Paul has been managing his regional consultancy business since 1999. Paul is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Paul's views on executive coaching, career management, outplacement and human resource topics are often sought after by the media, including the highly regarded International Herald Tribune, Hong Kong HR Magazine, Business Times, The Straits Times & the Asian Wall Street Journal. His articles on those topics are regularly published in the press as well as reputable management and business magazines, and also on major websites, both in Hong Kong as well as in Singapore. Paul is the author of “Jump Start your Career”, published by Prentice Hall. In 2007, he hosted a 10-part radio program focused on “Leadership” on Radio 938LIVE!, the premier news radio station in Singapore. 

Paul is a Past-President of the Rotary club of Bugis Junction and a Board Member & Wish Granter with the “Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore”. He is married and has two children.
